The basic internal structure of the wheelhouse is moulded from fibreglass. So I decided to use walnut planking strips which I fixed to the wheelhouse exterior using Gorilla Super glue Gel.
I decided to make the roof of the wheelhouse removable to allow easy access when it comes to fitting the internals. I used Colron Wood Filler which is a sand and sealer solution to fill in the gaps & then I used a wood stain/varnish to darken the colour to my desired colour.
I still have plenty to do on the wheelhouse including all the internals & I will also be fitting LED's to light the inside up.
